Born in Italy (Naples, 1987), he studied piano and composition at the Conservatories of Naples and Salerno with Antonio Traverso (piano) and Giancarlo Turaccio (composition).
His training continued studying composition with Marco Stroppa and at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Ivan Fedele and Michelangelo Lupone (electronic music), also receiving the scholarship in memory of Goffredo Petrassi, awarded by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, and intended for the student of the Composition Course of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, who has distinguished himself for the excellent results achieved, as well as for the competitions won, the awards obtained and the particular artistic activity carried out in the two years preceding the assignment.
Important, during the years of training, were the meetings with the composers Helmut Lachenmann, Franck Bedrossian, Stefano Gervasoni, Mark Andre, Francesco Filidei, Tristan Murail, Pierluigi Billone, Salvatore Sciarrino, Magnus Lindberg, Azio Corghi, Liza Lim and others.
His works have been performed and/or commissioned by the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, KLK string orchestra of Lviv, Ensemble Neue Musik, Ensemble Phace, Opificio Sonoro Ensemble, Concrète [Lab] Ensemble, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Syntax Ensemble, Divertimento Ensemble, FontanaMix Ensemble, MotoContrario Ensemble, AchRome Ensemble, “G. G. Arrigoni” string orchestra, Quatuor Sol, Eidos Trio, Kandinsky Ensemble and by several important soloists including Francesco D’Orazio, Maria Grazia Bellocchio, Dario Savron, Marina Boselli and others.
His music has been broadcast by SR1 Radio Saarland, Rai Radio 3, Radio Cemat, RadiostART and others.
He has received numerous awards in international competitions, including the Théodore Gouvy Prize of the Saar-Moselle Eurodistrict at the KomponisteWerkstatt 2023 in Saarbrücken (Germany) with the piece for orchestra Teleri (2022) with a new commission for the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, an honorable mention at the II Karol Szymanovski International Composition Competition with the piece for solo violin Attraverso tutte le corde (2022) and first overall prize at the IV “A. Schnittke” in Lvyv (Ukraine) in 2019 with the piece for string orchestra Ere di lontananza (2019).
In 2022 with the label Aulicus Classics he published his first monographic album “Solo and Chamber Music” containing pieces from the solo instrument to the Ensemble written between 2020 and 2021.
The works from 2020 to 2023 are published by TEM – Taukay musical edition and by Stradivarius musical edition (Milan).
Since 2023 by Edizioni Suvini Zerboni – Sugarmusic S.p.A (SZ Sugar).
He teaches Composition at the “U. Giordano” Conservatory of Foggia – Italy
